Dating has as many definitions as there are tips on what
should never be done on a date and what should always be done on a date. It
consists of social activities done by two people with an aim of assessing and
determining the suitability of the other person for a more serious intimate
relationship.
Dating couples normally meet in public places where they engage
in some predetermined social activities. Dating activities, not limited to the
following, may include;
- Attending sports events together
- Visiting parks, museums or animal
orphanages
- Going out for movies
- Going out for dinner
- Outdoor activities like hiking or
fishing.
- Doing a service project
- Going out for coffee
Over the years, dating has evolved from a communal event (For
example prearranged marriages) to what we have today.
